Today provincial politicians from 4 different parties are weighing in on the municipal issue of secondary suites, encouraging Calgary City Council to support the proposal coming to Council on December 15. Liberal MLA Kent Hehr, NDP MLA & Leader Rachel Notley, and Alberta Party Leader Greg Clark all wrote letters of support for secondary suites. Despite their ideological differences, politicians from across the political spectrum agree that adding more legal secondary suites will be positive for Calgary.
